L’attore anonimo è colui che della sua individualità e personalità si è perduta la memoria nel tempo; con la sua narrativa d’introspezione Aurelian Silvestru vuole fermare la Storia, in modo che il lettore solo leggendo ogni pagina potrà comprendere il legame tra i personaggi e i tempi in cui vivono. Attore anonimo, traduzione di Olga Irimciuc, in uscita a fine febbraio per Graphe.it Edizioni, è un romanzo corale di una grande levatura, complesso, nel quale ogni personaggio racconterà se stesso, l’ideale, la difficoltà nel vivere, il diritto di non rendere conto a nessuno, il riscatto e il regime dittatoriale.
L’autore, plurilaureato, è scrittore, psicologo, dottore di ricerca in pedagogia, membro titolare dell’Accademia Europea delle scienze, delle arti e della letteratura con sede a Parigi; ha ricevuto molte onorificenze internazionali e nazionali tra le quali l’Ordine della Repubblica, la più importante della Repubblica Moldova. La Moldavia, per il nostro autore è un Paese non del tutto indipendente, la gente soffre la povertà e non vi è speranza nel futuro finché dipenderà da altri stati economicamente e politicamente. L’indipendenza del suo Paese, ha dichiarato Silvestru, dovrà significare un giorno, libertà di parola, libertà dei media e libertà di movimento. Il suo libro Attore anonimo è il manifesto del suo pensiero, intense pagine del suo dissenso.

Due amici si incontrano nel parco della loro città, Chisinau, grigia e architettonicamente sovietica; Adi Corn e Tudor Cerescu, personaggio principale, non si vedevano da molto e nessuno dei due domanderà all’altro se riuscisse a cavarsela, se riuscisse conoscendo il mondo in cui si viveva, a sopravvivere. Avevano frequentato entrambi la Facoltà delle Belle Arti ma non erano diventato artisti, comprendendo da subito che i lavori più pratici avrebbero loro pemesso di vivere. Adi di famiglia benestante, con il padre militare, era diventato insegnante d’arte in una scuola media. Tudor, attore, sapeva di non avere nessuna posizione stabile, anche quando si era occupato di teatro. Reso triste dalle vicende della vita si domandava spesso se non fosse diventato un uomo inutile.

Insieme i due amici ricorderanno il loro amico Florin Montana, che l’arte aveva nelle mani, del suo talento, di come sognasse di diventare un Michelangelo, e di quando rimase vittima nell’incendio del suo laboratorio con tutte le sue opere che andarono perse. Aveva capacità e competenze, si svegliava all’alba, usciva in città per raccogliere le idee, ed ecco che i suoi quadri prendevano forma.
“Quando una persona comincia a sentirsi l’architetto della propria immortalità, il destino stravolge tutti i suoi piani. “
Tudor sentirà il peso del suo passato e di una vita difficile: esistono persone sole e persone condannate a essere sole. La passione per il teatro, poi la mancanza di fondi e dopo essere stato cacciato via, gli sembrava di essere stato messo in panchina dalla stessa vita, di essere caduto in una trappola del destino: ricordò Lev Tolstoj che aveva vissuto una situazione simile. La scrittura, una sua vecchia passione, a quel punto lo avrebbe salvato; l’importante era liberare la sua voglia di esperienza. Ospite nella lussuosa villa di Adi, arroccata su una rupe come un castello medioevale, aveva con se il suo manoscritto su Nerone, il più sanguinario tiranno dell’Antica Roma. Voleva trasformare il ritratto di un dittatore in un romanzo.
...mi rendevo benissimo conto che non sono gli scrittori a inventare storie. Lo fa la vita. La realtà supera la finzione. Un narratore prende al volo un soggetto e lo mette sulla carta.
Le storie si alterneranno, ognuno dei personaggi racconterà se stesso, i propri sentimenti, le proprie azioni come Dorian Filip, giovane scienziato e Susanna, amica di Tudor. Vagherà per le strade della capitale francese, affamata e con il freddo nelle ossa; una situazione drammatica per chi non ha più nulla, e nonostante gli ostacoli e le cadute, cercherà di tornare a fare l’attrice. Nella sua infanzia aveva vissuto perdite e dolori, la separazione dalla sorella Margareta, e non riusciva più ad apprezzare chi avesse ancora un po’ di bontà nell’animo. “ Quando cadi nella disperazione, le emozioni negative ti tormentano finché non uccidono la sofferenza oppure finché non sopprimono te stesso.” Susanna era per Tutor l’unica ragazza che riusciva d accendere la sua immaginazione:
una decina di finestre della sua anima si aprivano incuriosite verso il suo mondo.
Nella villa di Adi, piena di oggetti e ritratti di Nerone, anch’egli un ammiratore della tirannia, Tudor continuerà a scrivere dell’imperatore di Roma, della madre Agrippina, dei loro diabolici piani politici, della paura, del potere e di Seneca che gli ricordava di essere guidato dal male che lo avrebbe condotto alla sconfitta.
Di un dittatore che adorava solo il potere che lo inebriava; del terrore che generava terrore, del buio sull’intera Umanità, domandandosi: chi ci può essere di più atroce dell’uomo? “è l’uomo l’attore più terribile dell’Universo”. E alla fine il suo romanzo lo avrebbe portato a conoscere meglio anche se stesso, le sue passioni, le sue ambizioni.
“Scrivere un libro significa dissezionare la propria anima, sperando di trovare un pozzo d’acqua nel deserto.”
Attore Anonimo è un romanzo suggestivo, coraggioso, con un tema attuale che l’autore ha scritto in un suo periodo difficile durante la pandemia.
I destini paralleli dei personaggi, in un insieme di colpi di scena, tingeranno di giallo gli intrecci delle loro vite, e condurranno il lettore a profonde riflessioni sull’amicizia, sul vivere, sulla disperazione, sulla solitudine, sui ricordi.
